General Information

Please reinforce hygiene measures by washing your hands with soap and water or by using an alcohol-based hand sanitiser, available in your room and in the common areas of the accommodation.

Guests who are not staying at Monte da Morena are not permitted on the premises.

RECYCLING

Recycling points with appropriate bins are available on the veranda next to the communal kitchen and near the entrance to Monte da Morena.

SHARED BATHROOMS

Although the shared bathrooms are cleaned several times a day and surface disinfectant is available on-site for your added peace of mind, we recommend using the bathroom in your room whenever possible due to its convenience and proximity.

COMMUNAL KITCHEN

The communal kitchen, available for guests staying in the rooms, is equipped with individual crockery assigned to each room, a refrigerator, microwave, electric oven, toaster, kettle, Delta Q coffee machine (capsules not supplied), and a washing machine.

All facilities are available free of charge for your use.

We kindly ask all guests using the facilities provided by Monte da Morena to leave them in the same condition in which they were found. Although scheduled cleaning and sanitisation are carried out, disposable wipes, antibacterial liquid soap, alcohol-based hand sanitiser and surface disinfectant are available for guests' use. We therefore encourage everyone to help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the shared spaces.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the veranda, depending on the season during your stay.

Serving times: 08:30 to 10:30.(If you require breakfast before 08:30, please let us know and, where possible, arrangements will be made.)

You will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional local products from the municipality of Serpa, including PDO Serpa cheese, fresh goat's cheese, curd cheese (requeijão), black Iberian pork sausage, and other regional specialities.

To accompany your espresso coffee, you can enjoy Serpa cheesecakes made with requeijão, as well as traditional biscuits loved by both children and adults.

Our homemade tomato, pumpkin and peach preserves pair perfectly with requeijão or with toasted Alentejo bread, which naturally has a place on this table of regional products. You will also be able to taste our own extra virgin olive oil, available for purchase under the name "Monte Morena Extra Virgin".

Orange juice and seasonal watermelon/melon juice, coffee, milk and tea are available to accompany these delights. Cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruit are also provided.
If you have any allergies or food intolerances, please inform us so that alternative breakfast options can be made available.

PET POLICY AT MONTE DA MORENA

Pets must be kept on a lead in all communal areas.Pets are not permitted in the swimming pool.Owners are fully responsible for their pets in both the accommodation and communal areas.Please respect other guests, the shared spaces and your room. Pets are not allowed on beds or sofas and should use their own bedding for sleeping. A cleaning fee of €15 is charged per stay to cover additional cleaning after departure.
